For two hundred years, taking part in the heritage of ceramics of Vietri sul Mare, thanks families' love of ceramic artists, the Antiche Fornaci D'Agostino has always produced beautiful ceramics sustaining, since the beginning of the 1800's, a process of industrialization of Vietri ceramic techniques of workmanship.

Since 1993, thanks to the research and technological innovation of the De Maio family, the Antiche Fornaci D'Agostino started to specialize in the industrial production of a special material named Magmaker®, which is made up of a mixture of volcanic lapilli from Vesuvio and ceramic clay.

This exclusive support, that undergoes a long firing period at 1200 degrees Celsius, determines the particular resistance of these products, which are ideal for floors, indoor and outdoor, being resistant to freezing temperatures and acidic substances. They maintain a hand-made look, thanks to the glazes, which are applied using techniques, studied in the research laboratory of this factory.
